| Job Description | : | * Profound understanding on Internet Information Server (IIS) 4, 5, 6.0 ,IIS Monitoring, Maintenance , Troubleshooting & Perf Tunning, IIS tools/IIS security/LoadTesting/Clustering / Load balancing concepts. * Good understanding of Networking /Sys Admin/Web server Concepts * Reasonable knowledge on AD Concepts/User Management/Group Policies/Domain Concept/Patch Mgmt/Remote Control App * Advanced knowledge of W2000/W2003 Server & Microsoft DCOM * Solid understanding of Microsoft Clusters including clustered SQL implementations * Solid understanding of e-Commerce network technologies ie: Load Balancers (eg: Radware), firewalls etc. * Excellent knowledge of browser technologies & Hands on experience on App Support & App migration * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal successfully with all levels of customers and staff. * Provide 3rd level implementation, fault diagnosis, escalation and restoration of Windows 2000 &2003 based infrastructure, primarily based in e-Commerce Internet and Intranet implementations, on and offsite. * Knowledge of \'best practice\' processes in hardware desktop computing and data. * Provide prompt response to service restoration as per agreed Business Unit service level agreements, underpinning contracts and operational level agreements. * Demonstrated negotiation and problem determination skills. * Provide proactive management of site and server configuration, preventative maintenance, physical security and data security. * Provide system administration of Infrastructure through backups, virus protection and DRP. * Provide clear expectations of service and systems availability, including regular feedback on progress of faults resolution. * Provide monitoring on all nominated servers and systems to ensure complete notification of events impacting availability. * Provide on-call 3rd level support to agreed service levels |
